Why Jesus Had To Die: The Gospel Explained

In this video, we will be looking at what the Gospel is, what sin is, and why Jesus died on the cross. What did his death accomplish for us? Why did Jesus have to die? What must we do to be recipients of the atonement He provided, and what happens to us when we believe the Gospel?

While there are many facets of the Gospel I wish could have been covered at more in length (the meaning of "atonement", bodily resurrection, the eternal state, the handling of some objections, etc.), in this video we look at the bare essentials of saving faith and a basic overview of what Jesus accomplished for us and why. Perhaps videos can be made in the future elaborating on some of the themes contained in this video. I hope this video blesses you, and I pray that you will take its contents to heart.

I cried a lot while wachting this video and afterwards as well. I've been trying to find my way to Jesus for a while now but I didn't know how. Very time I tried to find Jesus by triyng to be a better person or by following some philosophy I would get frustrated cause I would still feel alone and unloved. But this video made me realize that Jesus loves me so much that he died for me and that God loves me so much that He gave me a chance to be with Him forever. I didn't gave my life to the Lord right now, but did a year ago... it all started because I became open minded about Jesus because one of my friends had experience with Jesus and that made me think... one thing lead to another... breaking point was when I watched 2 hours of your videos and after I stopped noticed amazing peace in me... it was so noticeable that I knew that was something special... contacted woman who was trying to bring me to Jesus for few months... she prayed for me and send me Bible and showed me love every christian should have! "Since the penalty is proportionate to the value of that which you sinned against, and God is of infinite value, this warrants eternal punishment." I've heard the gospel explained many times, but I've never heard this justification for eternal punishment. Without this explanation, eternal punishment seems overly extreme, a product of irrational, unhindered wrath, but this understanding makes it perfectly equitable. I appreciate you filling in this gap in my understanding, thank you.
