Speaking as a member of Pastor Kelly's congregation for 9 years, he is my role model as a Christian. He is always willing to listen and grow. His sermons are hilarious and thoughtful. He went against the Methodist Church to perform same-sex marriages. He created a safe parking program in our church parking lot for our local houseless community. He is just as lovable and wonderful in real life as he is in this video. I am forever blessed to have grown up with him at the helm of my church.

The pastor was a cool guy, but he is factually wrong to say that Jesus would have been an Arab male - the region had not been conquered yet by conquests from Arabia, so the region was pre-Arab in terms of language, heritage etc. Jesus' ethnicity would have been Israelite / Levantine Jewish.
