Matt's dead wrong here. Caller is spewing nonsense but at leat they are correct about John 14:6 it says "life". I've checked several versions too ESV, NIV, KJV they all say life. Hope he issued an apology for this back when it happened?

I’m confused with Matt’s correction of the verse here because in John 14:6 it actually does say, “Jesus said to him, I am the way the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” To be sure I tested this on the different translated versions and it always consistently said the life. I won’t make any attack on Dillahunty’s character as maybe he just didn’t know this.

It actually is "I am the way, the truth and the life." John 14:6. 😅 But I'd say Jesus means something that goes a bit further than natural life.
