In this tutorial, we have discussed how to use Geometry Nodes in Blender, and more importantly why to use Geometry Nodes, what are the advantages of this new powerful tool. We can use Geometry Nodes to modify the geometry of an object, beyond what is possible through modifiers and through the edit mode. And the best thing is, all such changes are procedural, which means you can always change the settings and experiment with your result, or even remove any specific change. We have taken some examples in this tutorial to explain how Geometry Nodes work. Please watch the video for the complete tutorial. I don't understand why you only have 9.25K subscribers. Your videos are extremely well done, easy to follow and very useful.
You have my vote. Keep em' coming'! I'll spread the word.

This was an awesome introduction to geometry nodes. I actually feel confident in what I just created. Thank you

As far as I know, this is the first tutorial that goes for partially affecting an object via vertex groups. Awesome! It will be great if you can go for complete series for the Geometry nodes tutorial. 👏👏

Thank you very much! I'm using Blender for ArchViz and I consider myself quite experienced. But geometry nodes are something I've never had time to dive in and I didn't understand why I should ever need them for ArchViz. Thanks to your practical exhample of partial SubD - now I'm beginning to understand the power of Geom.Nodes and why I should learn them. Thank you for your clear explanation!

I don't wish to sound pedantic, but this video runs longer than 5 minutes...😋 Glad it does because it's one of the best introductory tutorials on geometry nodes that I've watched so far. "I class myself as advanced beginner", yet even many seasoned Blender users will be noobs again when it comes to this topic.

I can see how powerful a tool this will be, even if it does take a bit of setting up compared to the traditional way we select various areas of our mesh and modify them. The ability to come back able to come back and make changes at any stage will be a huge time saver. I've often screwed up because I have applied a modifier and that has then caused me issues further down the track. Being able to save nodes and node groups and re-use them in other projects is fully sick.

Watching this and thinking about Blender's "Everything Nodes" project got me wondering what Blender beginner tutorials will be like in a few years time? Will we hearing "open up blender and start by deleting the default node"? What will Blender Guru's donut tutorials be like?

Note: blender 3.1.2 does not have the extrude. Near end of tutorial, there is the part to extrude eyes. What I did is download 3.3 Alpha. Didn't want to get rid of 3.1.2. Second problem. Made a folder in documents to use 3.3 using application to start. Error in extracting. What i found to workaround, made a folder in my Google drive. I did the extract there, and it completed without problem. Put it back into desktop documents folder. I run blender on Shadow virtual pc. My Core i3 laptop will not do much. My Core i5 burnt hardrive connection, so all I have left is crap laptops. Sad to say, but when you are low budget, Shadow is a godsend. I ran 3.3 to finish the tutorial.Wish I could say I could do this by memory. Have some memory issues, due to catching Covid multiple times. Thank you so much for this geometry node tutorial. At least I learn where the geometry node is and how to do group input and group output. Long day doing it, with all the problems trying to figure where geometry extrude node is. Subbed.
