Big fan of your Animation Nodes tutorials. Really happy to see your knowledge and experience applied to geometry nodes. Whenever I face challenges on my projects your channel is one of my go to places.

Great tutorial, I finally got my head around Capture Attribute. Your explanations are clear. Thanks.

You give a very clear explanation with simple examples… other tutors they go too far too quickly to explain the same concepts and they lost the audience easily doing that… I don’t know I think they are too intelligent and want to show off they end up not tackling the subject effectively like you did. Please keep it up the good work I glad to find you. :)

7:35 Reason 'that verticies are moved on each Faces center' is Split edge node make each faces to each objects, and each object's(means face) points are mixing own object's face's position?
Sorry for bad english, hope you can understand my question.

Thanks for that.. was actually using the rotated instance node, after the instance to point, to rotate them to the polygon normal. Both ways work, but yours looking also very good.

Using Blender 3.1 or a newer version, instead of mixing the outputs of two capture attributes you can just use a scale elements node, right?

nice tutorial. Thanks for doing these.

I think the 2nd case could be done w/ 1 capture attribute.
And maybe mixing it with initial position or normal I think.

Came back to that one. The alignment works for two axis, but not for all 3. So for example you can take the source polygon face, rotate it on x and y will all work, but once you rotate it along z it doesn't. Would be interesting to know how that could work.

But I am still confuse on this. What can "Capture Attribute" be use for?
