I love how you don't pad your videos. You always get to the point right away. Well done, Sir.

Played live Monday night, had 88, called a pre flop raise, everyone else folded. Flop. K, 8, 10. She raised, 3x. I had about double her stack, pushed all in with my trips. She called with K, A. ..Turn - K, Giving her trip K’s, and a FH for me……River. Another 10! 🙈, and a FH K, 10s for the lovely lady. Ffs!… Was a long haul back but took her out an hour later and a 3rd place cash. Happy days.

Thank you very much for these videos Blackrain. I've always called AQ my nemesis hand and the main hand I bust tourneys with. I never thought it was an amazing hand but a pretty solid all-in hand. Thank you for the analysis that it's a hand better not to overplay too much. Great content sir.

You’ve definitely helped me improve my game. You give great basic advice without over complicated explanations. Thank you

Good advice. I like to hear your perspective. A lot of poker is situational no matter what two cards you are holding. Yesterday I lost a good sized pot with KK out of position, but won a massive pot with 35 off suit on the button.

Nathan, you are a legend. I played a few tournaments the other day where every one of these situations came up at some point. I applied the information from this video and it helped me out big time.

I actually placed first in two MTTs in one day! I'm talking soft 888 Poker micro tournaments here but there were still a couple of hundred players in each. I feel like that might be a once in a lifetime thing but I couldn't believe it.

You were the one who first got me into learning how to play poker years ago with your micro stakes cash game books and articles, and here you are helping me out big time with tournaments too. Thanks so much

I'm not a writer. I'm not even that good at poker. However, if I was to write a poker book it would be titled "Pocket 8's Under the Gun: I don't know what to do!!!"

How about AJo? For me it has often been problematic preflop - as its not always obvious if the raiser under the gun (or guy 4 betting you) has AQ or AK or even QQ and JJ.

I won two tournaments back to back. Field of 100 and field of 40. Then won $1200 on 1/2 no limit last night off $200 buy-in. Love the videos.

I find I just win a little lose a little and now and then every thing goes right and I double or triple up.I suddenly start hitting the hands I am targeting preflop but 90% just even.

Thought for sure I'd see AK on here, I always either fold PF or limp in bc I never hit the flop and I can't bluff for my life

I've made plenty of mistakes with AQ and Jacks. Lost half my stack I'd piled up in a recent tournament. Early position, Jacks, raised pre, called two behind. Flop is 3 low cards and I lead and guy behind shoves. I even said "feels like Queens". Kings or Aces he certainly re-raises pre flop. Older guy like me, had a good stack, should have laid it down. Didn't. Yep. Queens. Tilted off the rest. I've played enough to know better, but not much since pandemic. But didn't trust my read, which really wasn't that hard. Taken a while to get over it.

Is Crushing the microstakes good for seasoned brick and mortar live players? Or tournament players? Only good for online micro players?

Hey buddy
You had mentioned AQ as a premium hand including pocket 10s in your cheat sheet but here you say it isn't.
