The grin as he turns to the bartender is absolutely terrifying

He’s like a Looney tunes character, I love it!
Talking to the camera, constant wordplay, the dust forming a perfect outline of his body.

''Sir, it seems that you are no better a judge of human beings than you are a specimen of one''
Best quote in the history of television.

Personally, I would have watched a whole hour and thirty minutes of this character. Funny, clever, witty, fast and ruthless.

I love when someone can casually spit out insults without swearing. So creative and oddly satisfying 😂

The sunbeam shining through the bartender's chest never gets old.

The way he says "Here now, I'll get that for ya partner!" To a dying man crawling to a door is GOLDEN! 😂

What's interesting is that while Buster goes in ostensibly asking for a drink, he leaves without taking one, which makes us wonder about his motivations here. Notice how he escalates the situation so that it has to become violent and how cheerful he is about the fact. Buster Scruggs is portrayed as the good guy both through his narrative, white clothes and the comic dust but the reality is something different. He's a merciless killer who takes joy in provoking violence, which he is expertly able to inflict.

"Sloppy shooting on my part" while looking directly in the camera. Great stuff

I have not ever seen this movie nor know who this man is outside of clips. I LOVE his demeanor and the part where he pats the dust off him in one go and leaves behind his shape was pure GOLD!

"It seems that you are no better a judge of human beings, than you are a specimen of one". I've heard some savage burns in my day, but by God...

"The Coup-de-Grace I will leave to the wolves and Gila monsters, Adios Amigo!!" Best parting line ever, in any movie. That-there is some fancy writing, ol' son!

I actually love the little foreshadowing in this scene. The first and most obvious is that he kills the first guy by shooting him in the head just like what happens to him later.

The second one though is when he talks about the last person crawling out of the bar. We just think it is funny how he'll leave him to the dessert critters but he mentions it being sloppy shooting on his part. Hinting at maybe he isn't as good as he used to be and there is room for someone to overtake him. This was such a good story and character.

The little tap he does after he holsters his gun after the first shot is fantastic. Could easily watch a 2 hour film about Buster.

I love his silhouette in dust as he enters and dusts himself off. Cool effect and demonstrates this is no ordinary hombre.
