How to Sum values based on Dates in Excel - Office 365

You can use SUMIF & SUMIFS functions to conditionally sum values based on dates.

Thank you for the great video. In all your examples you hard coded the date in teh SUMIF function. If you have a cell with the date, how can you substitute you hard coded date with the date contained in a different cell. I cannot seem to make that part work. any ideas?

is there a way to dynamically merge the amount for same date which is repeating itself, here for example: cells E2 and E3 are getting repeated for same date 1/1/2021 . can this be dynamically merged into a single cell?
