If you're traveling by train in sweden, you should probably also know that the further you travel north, the fewer trains there's going to be. Halfway through the country, they just kinda dissappear.

I am a swede and I'm gonna tell some things that he said a little more;

1: Everyone know english. Yeah, he's right, we have learned english from pre-school or even daycare.
2: Expensive alcohol. Yes, he's pretty right. But when he said there is only *ONE* store, there can be some misunderstandings, there is actually often atleast one in every municipality in small cities, but in most larger cities there is pretty many of these stores. They are called "Systembolaget".
3: Visit stockholm. That is pretty true, I would reccomend that you visit Stockholm / Gothenburg or another city.
4: Use trains. This is pretty good said, they are smart to use to transport around
5: Public wifi. He's actually saying true things, almost everything has Public wifi.

If you're going to sweden, have a great visit and thank you for visiting! But if you're just reading this, thank you for reading!

(Edit: For anyone complaining about my mistake in english, stop complaining and look at your own english. Some people who complained had way worse english. And for those english speaking annoying people that their english is bad, they learned the language just for you to know what they says. So stop it.)

1 IMPORTANT thing you missed!
Make sure you can use your card before visiting Sweden. Because Sweden is the world's most cashless country!

While multiple places still allow you to pay with cash. More and more places go over to only accepting card payments. It's a MUST to ask if they accept cash before you order anything to save you from complications/trouble.

Honestly, as a Swede myself, Gothenburg is just so much better. Stockholm is way more European city, while Gothenburg has that true Swedish character and charm. They also have way better food on the west, especially crabs. I’ve lived on both sides, so I really recommend Gothenburg if you really want to see Sweden

I am immigrant😂 I know you hate me😂 but living in Sweden for one year. Man, I love Swedish people, they are so sweet. I used to live in America for 20 years and I am telling you it is really really different.. American people are careless about each other, but Swedish people are so so nice I love all of them

Practically every restaurant open lunch hours has a special lunch menu, typically traditionalfood like meatballs.. take advantage of that and make lunch your main meal and have lighter meals at night..huge potential for savings.

I fell in love in Sweden: people, nature, architecture, mentality... It's so perfect for me and I mean to live in this place. When I listen swedish speech, my heart beats faster. I hope that I'll move from my country and I'll find my real home💙🫂

As a swede this is correct. Remember that food is also very expensive.

We speak “Svenglish” when we don’t know the English word (it is basically just Swedish and English in the same sentence)

Most of these are true except, the trains basically cut off going north, ao theres less lines from ex Kiruna to Stockholm, only 6 trains are running daily. Instead of couple of hundreds ive seen in well developed rail stations in India etc

IMPORTANT THING!! as a Swede I got shocked by what you meant that we swedes speak really good English because where I’m from in Sweden you will hear people speak Svenglish everywhere 😭 Yes we get learnt English since pre-school but don’t expect everyone to speak perfect english, especially if your traveling outside of stockholm.
Also! If your spending a long time in Sweden i’d highly recommend going up north in Sweden(but only in the summer because in the winter it’s hard to travel due to the snow) because it’s so beautiful up there!
Edit: but we also understand English pretty well

Yeah, most swedes are pretty good at english, even kids/teens. Alot of teens and kids spend alot of time on the internet, in that way they learn english pretty fast.
