Did not work. Tv sound test and use of other apps (e.g. Netflix) verified my tv has sound. The problem is with youtube tv.

If this fix does not work for you and you use a Fire Stick, try "Force Stopping" the app, clearing the apps cache, then relaunching it. Had the issue today and this corrected it.

Thanks - this worked for me! But, I had to go out of YouTube TV afterwards, then back in, to get the sound back. Don't know why they don't make this more obvious - thanks for doing their job for them!

Youtube volume wont work on only one of my TVs. All other programming works on this same TV. My other devices the youtube volume is fine.

That didnt work for me but will keep it in memory for future use. But what did work was disconnecting my bluetooth connection on my google TV dongle. It somehow got connected to an inactive pair of earbuds. I disconnected it and sound was restored.

I went to setting and reset the app or account and it logged me off . Worked just had to log back in

On Opera GX the current Youtube Update (27.05.2024) blocks the audio if you have Adblock on -, - so you need to turn it of.
