Tried setting date and time to Network settings and worked briefly. Then tried this - clearing cache and data - unfortunately not working.

It will not work, just sync with time, automatic time and date

Just go to settings and open device preference then open date & time then open automatic date & time and finally click on use network provided time then go back home page and open YouTube.
