Same as others. Last week I discovered your shotcut and it worked well. The last few days has been a no go. Sure miss that feature. Perhaps YT TV will have mercy and do a 90 second upgrade providing its customers this highly desired, very basic feature.

OMG! This is an awesome tip! Thank you! Interestingly if say you scroll down several rows for your current program in the guide, then back out of the guide using this play/pause method, then go back to the guide, it remembers/takes you back to that last rows of the guide that you were on before you play/paused.

My biggest issue is when I watch something for a period of time...And go back to the guide, it goes back to the top I really wish YTTV would fix that

Quickest way now for getting back to video is: back, back, up (dia pad) and ok. This is faster than scrolling back to the top. It was what I used prior to the tip that no longer works.

Do you know of a way to stop YTTV from turning off due to inactivity? My mom has Roku and likes to fall asleep to the TV. She wants it to stay on all night. I turned off the bandwidth saver but it still shuts off hours later for inactivity. Is it a Roku thing? If I switch her to Apple TV will that fix it? Any help from anyone would be super appreciated! Thanks!

Great tip. We need more of these. For example, I just switched to YouTube TV, and in the guide I cannot figure out how to or even if it’s possible to move an entire page up and down as opposed to having to go one line at a time when scrolling through the guide. Any input on that?

Yeah that used to work but they "fixed that" a couple months ago and now there's no way to get back quickly as far as I know.

nice didn’t think of that i think i was hitting the back bottom and it took me to the top

You can also hit the back button which takes you to the top of the guide and then click up once to the show title at the top and select.

Thanks, works with firetv remote, just hit the play/pause button twice. I love these cool tips.
