One time I had bleeding under my nail and there was a red mark for months. I thought it would be permanent because it never seemed to fade away. One day I just started scratching it and turns out it was on the top layer of my nail and I just scraped it away. Blew my mind.

I have had white lines on my nails for my whole life and I haven't caused any severe trauma to my nails or anything and I'm not showing any side effects, it's just been a cool little thing I can show people every now and then, so I'm still a bit confused why I have them though.

I have been having white spots on my nails for 5 years+ and I decided to find out today

But I've had leukonychia punctata on many of my finger nails for years now and they haven't disappeared. Does anyone know the reasoning of this occurrence?

I have one tiny spot on one nail. Its never been a problem, and ive had it all my life. Theres nothing wrong with having a tiny one.

I currently have 1 dot on my middle finger and 1 dot on my ring finger, I don’t mind it because it only takes 2-3 weeks for my nails to grow and I just cut em off but they usually appear again every once in a while
