i have never felt so understood in my whole life until this anime. i lost my partner in winter as well, Jan 2015, in a terrible car accident where me and our pup survived. when Mafuyu says "I'm happy with what im doing, i'm happy i've found someone new, im enjoying life... but i can't help the feeling of wishing i could just talk to you again". seriously ... this absolutely broke me... ugh

I didn’t cry during this whole anime until this song. It’s like every single emotion that had been building up for so long hit me like a brick all at once and I started sobbing as soon as Mafuyu screamed. That hit me to my very core. I had been sad for Mafuyu and Yuki but it hadn’t really hit until this moment, it was almost freeing but in such a heartwrenching way, at least that’s what it made me feel, and now I think Mafuyu felt too.
