The jamming was so relaxed and fun, if they put stern faces and calculated movements to their seance Mafuyu and the audience wouldn't have been so captivated. This adaptation is really holding up its standards.

Uenoyama at 0:46 and 1:19 on repeat but is just GOLD.
I’m so glad the whole animation team from the musicians, animators, voice actors, everyone did such a good job in this adaptation. It really brought the manga to life

The way they play the instruments is just amazing. The bass and the guitar sound like a conversation. The bass is resembling the main melody of the guitar and that brings complexity into the music. When Kaji stops playing, it leaves tension in the air, just when the melody and the bass get superhyped. Its so playful and joyful, that everytime i hear this i get a new perspective. I got all that from a 1:40 seconds video. You can already imagine what i felt with the opening and the ending.

I love this scene a lot solely because of Uenoyama's utter confidence. The way he smirks when he says "talk about abstract", as if to say yeah that request is vague as hell but y'know what? I got you. And then that smirk comes back when he's really getting into the song. This is a guy fully getting back into his element, into the thing he loves doing the most, and being absolutely killer at it. I love him.
