Salut
welcome to my channel. My name is Dr Liv Kraemer and i am a board certified dermatologist, actually a M.D., Ph.D, with focus on skincare, skincare ingredients, aesthetic dermatology, laser and skinfood.
I hope you are all well. Today i decided to talk to you about one of my favorite topics: skin and food: skinfood. As i have a lot of patient who want a great skin, but they are eating fast food, drinking energy drinks or eating sweets or breaded or caramelized food maybe even smoking.
Sorry to say, but the human body is one big organism where all parts are working together. I like to compare it with the swiss watch: a couple of wheels have to move before the big hand is finally moving.
Your skin, your gut and therefore the food you are eating is an important part of your body and therefore of your well-being.
Therefore watch my video and share to a friend you think should start a healty diet.

Very happy to see a dermatologist talking about skin healing foods. the dermatologists I’ve visited in North America rarely acknowledge the power of food on skin. Also, Dr. Liv gives advice and tips and doesn’t try to sell you anything! Very refreshing to listen to ! Thank you!

“Skin is like a Swiss watch with wheels that makes the clock move. Food is one og those wheels, and believe me, skin food is a big one” what a great and beautiful metaphor, Dr. Liv!

Olive oil has to be labeled as “ cold pressed &extra virgin” Also use it sparingly.

Thanks for sharing about buying well covered olive oil and about frying tomatoes to get the lycopene. You are what you eat was also a good reminder !

Flax seed oil isn’t bad at all!
In fact it’s one of the best oils as long as not heated! It’s also the only oil allowed on the Gerson Therapy. Use all oils very sparingly and no oil fried/heated. 💕
This is a very good video except for a couple things imo.
Nuts are easier to assimilate if soaked over night.
I, 000% agree on cold pressed juicing!!
Such a cute animated doctor. Fun to watch even though I don’t agree with everything 🤗

I have not eaten animals in over 40 years including fish. I use avocado for my oils. Almonds great calcium . I love lots of fresh fruits and veggies. I 💯 % agree with diet effecting our skin!! I drink a ton of fresh cold pressed vegetable juices which I make myself.
