This video got added to my suggestions after watching your X100V accessories video (I just purchased one myself). I've been an amateur photographer for more than 25 years and I almost skipped over this video. But I'm so glad I did not. This is THE BEST job of explaining the exposure triangle I've ever seen (or read). I showed it to my wife who was as terrified of my X100V as my 4/3 micro and DSLRs...in under 10mins she said "OMG! I definitely recommend shooting in manual because YOU choose, you have total freedom of how you want the picture to look like. It might be overwhelming at first but this video explains it perfectly imo

Thanks, you did a nice job of explaining shooting in manual. I shoot in manual 90% of the time and it is no dought the best way you can control the 3 elements. I've tried to teach family members how and why you would want to use manual mode. I think for some people it's just easier to shoot in A or S mode. Fuji cameras are one of the easiest to use in manual, set the manual aperture ring, and adjust the front and rear dial. I set one for shutter and the other for ISO. That said there is a place for A priority at times. The hardest thing for a new user is the thought process you outlined in the video. As a seasoned photographer, this thought process is just part of my workflow and until you understand the process you are always going to hit and miss.
