I’m Cuban, I was born there and got here when I was younger and kept speaking it at home. This is probably the closest I’ve seen a none Cuban come close to the accent. I can tell he has worked hard to understand and break it down. My only advice would be that alot of what separates the Cuban and Dominican accents are the speeds that they’re spoken. Dominican Republic accents are usually spoken a little faster. I also love how mans puts his swag on every time he speaks in the Cuban accents because that’s literally what it is… just pure sauce.

I speak Cuban Spanish from Oriente, Cuba. When I learned Portuguese I noticed my Cuban Spanish helped me learn Portuguese. Later I found out that Canary island Spanish where Cuban Spanish comes from has a Portuguese influence.

I am Cuban, and I have a pretty funny story about my knowledge in speaking Spanish.
It was technically my first language, but I forgot it at the age of 4 and spoke English for the rest of my life. I'm now trying to relearn Spanish.

My coworker is from Cuba, he's been in the US for 3 years now. Funny thing is he came strait to here to Salt Lake City, Utah. But his sons always go back to visit Cuba and they always bring me back cigars. Great guy.

Bro you got this 👌, I’m from the east side of Cuba (Bayamo) and it is very similar to PR and DR Spanish.

From what I heard, the Cuban accent is the hardest to understand. It's the most chopped and is often spoken very fast. The eastern variant of the accent mirrors the Dominican accent.
