I am an Indiana native and a Fever fan. And it is fantastic what Caitlin Clark is doing for the entire WNBA! I had no idea about her 3 gold medals on junior USA Teams. She will get her opportunity on multiple Olympic teams. But I will say that the powers that be missed a golden marketing opportunity by not putting her on this year's team.

Having two athletic brother's and playing basketball on the boys team as a kid toughened her up. It prepared her for the journey to come. She reached the very top in College breaking records. Now she has her final challenge before her as a rookie WNBA player. Drafted #1 and being white in a predominantly
black league has put a target on her back. Jealously, resentment, hatred and being a rookie are motivating reasons for player's to go after her. She has received support from numerous star NBA player's as all they SEE is TALENT! Black WNBA player's are talented, BUT so is CATLIN!

Yes, she is just a normal person who has worked hard to get where she is in basketball. She is so gifted and how wonderful that that great game was televised so we could all see her talents in shooting from so far away and sinking that ball in the hoop!!! She was in the right place at the right time to boost the sport! I do have a concern though that some opponents are purposely trying to hurt her during these games. I have seen her hit in the face more than once. So, refs, please keep an eye on this.
No pro player should be jealous of Caitlin. So many women sports do not get seen or compensated for their talents compared to men. Be glad she is bringing attention to your game. You are great also! Be a good sport.
