Appreciate the new series and I 100% agree with a dream journal being important.

I found that when I journaled, my lucid dreams were much clearer and i was more myself. I would be more present in the moment and felt just like if i was awake. Without a journal i can be lucid but its a half asleep version of me making decisions i would never do in reality.

For some reason having a good recall ability makes the lucid dreams better quality for lack of better words. This does not seem to increase to frequency of lucid dreams for me though. I also found dream signs or common themes were pretty useless. Thats just my experience anyway and it wont apply to everyone.

I think when I started, back in like 2018 I think it was, I got mine within a week, and man teh difference between not keeping a dream journal and keeping one was shocking, even for only a week in just how much I rememebered of my dreams. unforutnately trying to get back into it, and alot of days I can't seem to remember them long enough to write them down.

I got mine on my 11th day with no techniques. Just dream journal and reality checks. I'm super happy about that😃

Had a lucid dream by accident. So I was trying for a couple of weeks but sadly I had no luck so I put it off for a while. Then lsat night I was in a dream I was with my friend we were at an airstrip with fighter jets. This is when I started to gain lucidity I suddenly realise that how could I be on an airstrip it would be restricted area and then it hit me I was dreaming! The feeling was amazing and my friend asked me was this a dream and it made me think wait are dreams multiplayer😂. Laughing it off I tried to test if it was a dream by running and then saying I will have super speed, after a few seconds I started to go as fast as a bughatti that just spawned. The dream became fuzzy and then I used my mind to lift up the jets and I blew them up. As the explosions rang out I woke up it was such a good feeling. I’m going to try again tonight wish me luck!

Lucid dreaming is on and off for me because of motivation. But the last week I’ve been consistent with reality checks. I need to get consistent on dream journaling then hopefully I should be good but it would still probably take a while to have a lucid dream. Your vid on dream journaling should help so I look forward to that

One month ago i had an episode of "lucky" Dream that was really close to be lucid but It didn't happened. I'll keep It short: i was watching TV and there were ending title of a film, then i saw the Word "lucid dream" and i thought: "how what a strange thing, they speak about lucid dreams also there in this film/program". Then since i know lucid dreams since Years, (never practiced constantly, Just having phases) i said "ok, let's check if this Is a dream for real" but without believing It so much. I was likes "ok im gonna try but i don't see nothing strange there, this Is reality and im acting dumb". Then After saying the words "AM i dreaming?" I started levitating and arrived to the ceiling, and a human like face came out from the Wall. The face answered to my question with a strong and heavy "NO." After that i felt down to the floor and i woke up by the alarm. This was my closest esperience with a lucid dream (based on luck). Pretty intense however. I Hope you find It interesting.

One night, I found myself in a really weird world.I would like to mention that I had no idea what lucid dreaming was at that time.I became lucid due to the weird stuff that was in the dream and then for some reason I tried to fly around and it worked.I had no idea what lucid dreaming was, I became lucid and also controlled my dreams.

what you said at the end there with the dream journal is why it really frustrates me when people act like dream journals arent important or necessary. Some people claim they have excellent dream recall without a journal and that may be true for them, but I think it's obvious for most people that's not the case, so dream journals should just always be pushed as a fundamental aspect to lucid dreaming. Also frustrating is (at least on the lucid dreaming subreddit) there are so many people who asking "what's the quickest and easiest way I can get lucid?" There are so many people who really dont seem to have the initiative or drive to do lucid dreaming, a lot of folks want it instantly and with as little effort as possible.

Maybe I just seem like I'm ranting at this point, which I kind of am. It's just weird to me the amount of people who go into lucid dreaming thinking it's this thing they can half wing and expect amazing results. Hardly anyone researches for themselves as well, they just ask "hey how can I get a lucid dream tonight lol". I'm glad you're still part of the lucid dreaming community, because people like you and Tipharot and reece are a beacon of light, not to sound to dramatic haha.

On April 2020 out of nowhere I just became lucid. Been trying to Ld on and off for 3 years. But for 1.6 years been trying to AP and still nothing. Maybe it’s because of my 1.4 year old depersonalization. Next will be psychonautism (that I hope to see you into someday:)

I used to have a LOT of lucid dreams about ten years ago, but did not even know that's what they were called. Then these dreams just stopped, to my disappointment.

I eventually learned what lucid dreams were, and in November 2020 I decided: I want to learn this. So I started reading the texts by Laberge, Tholey, Daniel Love, doing RCs, writing a dream journal and really trying to up my dream recall etc.

Three and a half months later, I still have not had a single lucid dream, and today I felt so disheartened...

I’ve always been good at recalling most dreams, I’ve been doing the reality checks but not a dream journal. I’m going to try and see if that helps. I’ve been “semi-lucid” in dreams before I even knew what it was lol. Like I’ve realized I was dreaming in dreams but never controlled the dream.now I’m fascinated by the possibilities.

Great video as always, just a minor critique: The numbered lists on screen are quite small and lightweight/thin. This makes it hard to read, especially on mobile, so it would help if they were a bit larger and in bold.

Long-time subscriber, looking forward to the next one!

Just had my first lucid dream today!

Thank you to people like this helping people.

Personally, I used the MILD method. I woke up early because rubbing my hands to stabilize didn’t work, causing me to lose control and just go into a regular dream.

If you guys in the comments are anything like me and say you have tried all these techniques, used a bunch of supplements and have said it's taken ages and I still haven't had a Lucid Dream.

Friendly peace if advice. Actually try.

Don't just do what I done by doing techniques once a week or so or taking supplements with putting little to no effort Into actually trying to Lucid dream and then convince yourself you've been trying to lucid dream for ages and you are in that percentage of people who "Can't lucid dream so easily" because that just simply isn't true. The most it will take someone is 4 to 7 months which isn't long at all.

Whoever is reading this is beautiful and can achieve anything :)

Great video series.

I've tried, a couple of years ago, to practice for lucid dreaming. What I found was hard for me was to remember to reality check, I would sometimes do that, but once I engage an activity like working or gaming, I would forget about reality checks for a long period, and I would guess that that's what didn't go right for me. As for the journal, I tried every morning staying longer in bed trying to remember any dream I've had the night before, and then registering it on my journal.

I did what I wrote above for 2 months without skipping a day. Having one (accidental) and first lucid dream that went something like the video you posted these days, pretty bad. Immediatly after realising that I was lucid, I screamed "YES, LETS FLY", and almost one second after start flying, I woke up in euphoria with a thousand heartbeats/sec, lol.

With that said, are there any tips on how to make reality checks a habit?

Okay hear me out, I don’t wake up aware that I had a dream more than like once every two months. How long would it take me to be able to at least recall information from a dream most nights?
