You seriously are one of the most inspirational people i have ever seen in my life. The care you show for your kids melts my heart. I have ALOT of health problems and i would do anything in this world to have my mom back. She passed away after suffering from terminal heart disease, kidney cancer, hypothyroidism, arthritis all over her body, icd/pacemaker, congestive heart failure and way more. You truly touch my heart every single day. ❤❤❤❤

I just found out that I may be anemic or pre-diabetic, or both.
Tomorrow I'm going to take the exams, and I'll come back to edit the comment when the results come out.
Edit: Gosh, there are still 7 days for the results to come out 😭

I was a recess monitor at an elementary school and we had a student with T1D, I met her one of my first days and saw her with a cell phone. I was a little baffled and went to go tell her she needed to take it inside and put it in her backpack. She stood up for herself really well and explained it was for her dexcom. I felt bad, but I didnt worry about it after that.
She liked to lay down in the field diring recess. It scared me so bad the first time 😂 I ran so fast. She was totally fine, just chilling 😂 She did that pretty often. I checked on her everytime because I never knew if she was just doing her normal thing or if something had happened with her diabetes. I'm pretty sure I told her one time, "you know I'm gonna check on you every time you do this, right?" She was a great kid, super sweet and funny.

I’m so glad her school sounds like they’re accommodating her well! I work in education and love to watch videos/channels about many different experiences so that I can be well informed with every child that comes into my care 💜

If you want they have a new Dexcom Seven (G7) I got it recently and it’s way smaller, plus you don’t need to buy a transmitter because it already had it, in your next order if you want, just ask for the pharmacist to make the Omni Pod be with the G7 update

I remember in a previous short that Addie would get itchy at the adhesive sites. Does Addie still encounter the itch at site removals? I’m not diabetic but I know it could be acquired at any age so I want to be prepared to tackle adhesive sensitivity issues in case the inevitable happens.
