I have a question regarding the part with Anthony the Great (at the nine minute mark) when he got beat up by demons and you compared it to Job and when he got tested.
Thats is really one thing I struggle with seeing a loving God in that. Why couldn't he just let Anthony in peace. What exactly gets revealed here? What does that mean ''I wanted to see how you would fare'' Why does he want to see that? It feels terrible getting beat up by demons. We can't even live peacefully in a cave it seems. From the outside it looks we are just puppets or chess figures and we get thrown around when God allows satan to do that. I get when something bad happens because of sinful acts where obviously God can't protect when we get out of his guarding hands, but someone just living in a cave? Would be really happy to get an answer.
