Leila is not wrong. She may not be Cinderella, but she is definitely a princess.

As someone who is Autistic, we should never discourage Autistic people for having passionate interests or for viewing the world in a different perspective. We should never apologize for our Autism, because it's a part of who we are. It's not something we "have". I grew up loving My Little Pony, and it became something that comforted me when I was being bullied, but some family members treated my interests as "childish". Eventually, I feel into that same mindset, and ended up really depressed. It wasn't until I truly embraced who I am and the things I love, that I grew to be the most happy. I hope this little one gets to embrace her interests and never feels like she has to give up her interests for anyone, and I hope she grows up in a healthy environment. :)

That’s probably the best compliment the bride could get

"Telling her she had to get back to the ball"
That's A+ Disney quality right here, staying in character!
What a lovely woman :)

Even a few years later, this is still a beautiful story. We need more people like this in our world. Props to Leila for doing this.

I can’t blame the kid. The bride really does like Cinderella.

I’d be so flattered if a kid mistook me for a princess

My dad gets mistaken for Santa Claus. He's 80 and has a long white beard, and he happily plays along especially at christmas.

The first time a woman found a way to wear her wedding dress again instead of stashing it in a closet for 45 years or selling it on ebay.

It doesn't matter how much money she paid for that dress, she got her money's worth out of it for sure!

Honestly, that wedding dress (if it was bought instead of borrowed or something) would have sat in her closet for who knows long, so her finding an amazing way to keep wearing it for Layla is not only wholesome but now the wedding dress can be of use constantly.

Any excuse to wear your wedding dress.

Wasn't a waste of money after all.

This made her wedding day even more special and memorable, and the fact that she went the extra mile to keep in touch with the girl is just so wholesome 😭 we need more people like this in the world
