Working out both changed my life and dramatically improved my mental health. I have bipolar disorder and ptsd which are very difficult and serious mental illnesses. But exercising, specifically taking up crossfit was one of the big things that changed all of that for me. I've been on a pretty big fitness journey as a whole and this is just a piece of it but this is the reason I started training in the first place.

So true. I wish it was talked about more. I’ve started exercising in the last year and it’s drastically helped how I feel mentally

Thanks for posting this. I'm very down and know exercise will help but just can't seem to get motivated.

Were there any older women there. I am 69. CrossFit seems too hard but I’m interested.
