Something truly surreal happened! Jhaape and I were featured in The New York Times as part of their five-part NYC housing crisis newsletter (The Housing Crunch), all thanks to the apartment hunting saga!!

We did an interview and photoshoot last week, right before leaving for Nepal. I’ve vlogged the whole experience, and it will be part of the upcoming vlogs. Here’s the link to the article if you’re interested:

A huge thank you to YOU and our amazing community for making this opportunity possible, for your support, and for being here with us ❤. Also, a big shout-out to the New York Times editor who found the apartment hunting series and recommended us 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Yes! That kind of friendship is the ABSOLUTE best! Being able to be you no matter what that looks like at the moment is so refreshing! Friendships like that are the ones you know are the real deal and that they truly care about you! Treasure and nurture those! ❤

The baby shower was beautiful and I'm so impressed that you guys did all of that on your own! The food looked delish too! Little Jhaape was styling with his new haircut and his suit and bow tie! So cute!

You might want to try getting some kind of padding for under the walking pad. Home depot sells interlocking floor padding for workout areas.

Put a rug or yoga mat underneath. It should muffle some of the noise. However, you are allowed to live your life as well. I would get a mat and a rug, and just do it.

The friendships where you get to be yourself and don’t have to monitor your social battery or portray someone else are the only that matters. Have the best time in Nepal ❤

Such a beautiful baby shower and the food looked amazing. Chappy was the cutest one there.

Hi Tisha, try getting a pad to put underneath the walker. I have one and if you get the pad it's not loud.

What if you get a rug for the walking pad? There are soundproof pads for rugs as well. Don’t know how great they are, but worth a shot, I think.

And of course, congrats on your NYT feature! That’s so cool! ❤

I’ve been watching your old moving videos and saw how Ashanti was key to helping you clean the apt. So glad to see her again! Congratulations to your sister! Jhaape looked so handsome at the shower🥰 hope you have a safe trip!💛

Beautiful baby shower send ❤. Oh when I saw the walking machine my heart missed a beat. Our ex neighbours had one and it was terrible. He seemed to live on it and the noise sent us crazy. He wasn't as accommodating as you hunny. We hung a flag out when he left. Anyway life goes on. New York looks amazing. We are thinking about coming to Christmas shop, trying to get a good flight deal. 🎉. Take care keep safe sending love to all. Rosie O UK 🇬🇧 x
