I see a lot of negative comments but I think this is great advice. It's all about being your best self and not loosing sight of who you were before him. Its easy to do in a marriage. I don't think its a game if both partners are benefiting from it. Its just a gentle reminder that hey I take care of my self because I love who I am and you should too.
PS. My husband is a gamer so sometimes his focus is on his game. This morning I put on makeup to go to the gym and he couldn't keep his eyes off me from the game room. I know he was curious as to why and when I got back he didn't want to take his hands off of me. Say what you will but it works 💁

Going through this now because of a little tension in the relationship. 🙄 I want my partner to run towards me and the relationship to resolve the conflict and learn the lesson that comes from the conflict, forgive and move forward. Withdrawaling does nothing but create more problems. I can understand maybe needing some space but to treat the other person differently by withholding love and affection is unhealthy.

The one thing we don't discuss in a relationship is trust. We automatically assume we trust each other. I just told my husband of 15 yrs I trust him. His response was what are you up to. It made me realize we really don't announce that verbally.

He was changed but when he messaged me and sent me a voice clip to much flowering words and apologies and kept on telling me that I'm the very best thing happened to his life and thanking for healing his heart. I actually have to work on the opposite. I never text first. And I am always busy, so sometimes I take too long to answer.
I go out of my way for my kids, my family, and friends. I learned not to be that available to men, many years ago. Men are so predictable! You do something and just wait for the results, like give him less attention and ladies, for sure he will be asking for it --- he'll be more attentive, affectionate, and romantic.
