Yes if you/your family has plenty of time for exercise and play/training sessions. Otherwise it will destroy your entire house 😂

I would recommend do not ever leave them with small children, they're not calm Germen Shepherds or even Retrievers, Malinois is very energetic and agile breed, they can do harm unintentionally. Otherwise yes, they're excellent protective dogs suitable for life in family.
Edit: they still need enough activity both physically and mentally, they're working breed. DO NOT GET ONE if you're busy or inexperienced dog owner, Malinois is challenging and time consuming breed.
