Many American citizens are leaving the country in growing numbers due to safety reasons and quality of life.

Violent crime is also increasing in Europe due to the rapid growth of Africans, Arabs and Asians so I would not call it a safe haven for some areas.

Crime is still bad even if its not ”violent” crime or ”homicidal” crime. The fact that liberals cherrypick the worst of the crimes as examples and act like robbing or stealing someones property is not a big issue is just insane. When you get robbed, beaten, mugged or house broken into, it can and is a very traumatic event and causes alot of stress which in turn only naturally leads people to seek better countries to live in.

After a long 2.5 months, I just had my retirement visa approved for Colombia 🇨🇴 which I’m moving there next week. My reason, the ability to travel more, especially with my girl, enjoy good food without it being a gut punch with the check, culture and family. Crime is everywhere, so far I haven’t experienced it probably of where I lived. Ironically I have to worry about that more in Colombia to be honest, but the benefits outweigh worrying about it not to try. It’s about lifestyle to me. We already have a home in a gated community, a vehicle. The US is great for building your finances up to live elsewhere once retired.
