This was great!! My 2nd-favorite walking meditation after Mindbalm Meditations! I love hers more than anything, but it's an hour long. Would love her to make a shorter one. This is the closest I've found to being similar to hers in the way it allows us to remain aware of our surroundings. Great job! Really enjoyed this.

I am a pretty experienced meditator (over 20 years now, since I was 14) who gets easily annoyed with guided meditations (mostly when they have the corny, new agey tropes and “self help” vibes🙄).

Though I’m also not a giant fan of the current Silicon Valley “mindfulness” boom, and it’s emphasis on “the bottom line”/tangible rewards you can benefit from. “You can hack mindfulness/meditation as a tool for success and upward mobility!” Alan Watts is probably turning over in his grave🤣

Anyway, long story short, and very un-Zen tangent over with, my favorite style of meditation overall is walking ones...and this one is, I think, my favorite walking meditation I have heard so far. Very helpful, clear, effective, well-paced, to-the-point instruction that beginners and experienced meditators alike should be able to get some value out of.

I’m a bit confused 🫤 7:22 that means as you walk to only think about sensation in feet and not simultaneously not have conscious attention to visual, auditory, olfactory senses? Ie walking on autopilot? And then start incorporating the other senses gradually? Or the mind wandering referring to thinking about past or future rather than your immediate current walking environment?
I’m very visual (idk if because I have aphantasia) but focusing on feeling in feet removes a lot of the enjoyment of all the visual stimuli and forces me to focus on the discomfort that comes with flat feet.

Not that I mind at all. The longer the better but I'm just noting.

The voice is just too forced and sounds fake- not calming, and no music at all

I cannot pay attention to my breathing without altering it, like if i pay attention to it the breathing is never really 'On its own' Is that normal? And i feel nothing on the belly.
