I got the PS5 Pro. Yes, some games look better, but it’s not worth it if you already have a PS5. It feels more or less the same—I even forget that I have the Pro sometimes because it’s so similar.

I look at it this way: Performance vs Price and quite frankly the Pro falls VERY short. I'll be sticking with my PS5 slim until the PS6 comes out.

Digital Foundry confirms:
PS5 Pro ZEN 2 CPU is not enough for 60 FPS gaming like BG3 which runs only couple of frames better and won't fix those problems. Current PC CPUs are twice as fast.

Not worth buying it not unless you don't have a PS5. The graphics looks same as the slim you won't really tell the difference. The ray tracing is same as the slim blurry not sharp images on the water reflections for example. That $700 save more money then that and I get like a RTX 4060 laptop or 4090 graphics is by alot better and different then the pro.

Short question regarding PRO's "noise ptofile" (fan, coil-whine, buzzing), have You noticed any (during heavy load and while not playing)? How is it compared to your based model?

Im so glad when I bought my original Playstation 5 Digital Version that I made the full switch over to digital gaming only. Just like this guy, 100% of my games are digital. I did end up selling my original Playstation 5 Digital Version and instead buying a Playstation 5 Slim Disc Version just for the hell of it in case I want to watch Blue Ray movies that I still have on disc. I also bought the Playstation 5 Pro and will probably also buy a separate disc drive for it for that same reason, but it's great to know I don't need one. Im totally embracing the digital world of gaming now since my Playstation 4 had discs.

I just feel the bang for buck is not worth the upgrade, especially if you need a disc drive, I did think about but from what I've seen it's underwhelming, thinking of an ally x before this
