If I had a dollar for every time I hear Ray Tracing I could buy a 4090

Remember that the GTX 1080 TI released at $699

The best GPU you can buy is the one you can afford 😉

for viewers: Tim did not call Steve back from his vacation to test 14900KS, hence Tim is still making videos for us

For most people where I am from any gpu more than roughly 500$ for non commercial tasks is for tech enthusiasts only.

I bought 6750 XT for cheaper than 4060/RX 7600 4 months ago, mega deal. for competitive 1080p 144/240hz this card is perfect, no bullshit, only brutal raster performance

spend more money for the raytracing performance, thinking i will need it. never use raytracing...

I'm surprised the 7900 GRE isn't more popular. It generally seems like a good deal for the performance

Basically, all Nvidia can offer is better ray tracing, while being slower and more expensive. Personally, I would rather play at a higher framerate, instead of ray tracing enabled.

2nd hand 6800XT for $570 AUD was a no brainer for me last year and I have zero regrets. The 2nd hand market is still pretty good!

TLDR :
If you ray trace, buy Nvgreedia.
If you game buy Radeon
If you beta test buy Arc

I have the 6750 XT, definitely the best for under £350

i own a radeon 6800 so it's great to know it's performing like a 7700xt but with more vram. should still last a couple more years, it runs every game still anyways

I sure wish we would see more of these price cuts over here in the U.K. Currently, the 7700XT is well over £400, which is too much, with the 7900GRE and 7800XT being too closely priced.

The entire GPU market is clown fiesta's dumpster fire, top to bottom.

Surprised NVIDIA didn't release a 4090 Ti Super

I'm a sucker for these kinds of videos. I do feel like less happened than usual, but knowing some GPU's which I do have some interest in are possibly going away is something good to consider. :) I just liked chilling with your clear and concise video. :)

All these YouTube videos after the pandemic talking about constant GPU price cuts make me even more aware of the fact I live in a small country where GPUs are the only PC component with prices set in stone. Zero changes after early 2022. 4070ti still selling at $900+.

Good timez.

these prices certainly do not align with european prices, those high end gpus cost way more here, some low end ones also cost a lot more, some mid end cost some less(realatively seen since actually when converting € to $ they are still around the same price), but it changes the value a lot

I picked up an ARC A770 recently on a whim to mess around with it. Then I built a system around it with a 12th gen 12600KF and an ITX board.
Overall, I was surprised at how smooth it runs. I'm not trying older titles (except GTA-V, which it destroys) and it's been interesting to overclock and push in 3dMark. I'm kinda impressed.
