What he means to say in this video is "Don't be stupid and waste your money, wait until January for the 5000 series."

What about tell Rx
6750 Rx in the under 300, on Amazon is around 290 and has a lot of horsepower. It also has a solid 12 vram. It is what I would recommend for that budget if you are willing to go to a previous generation 😊

4090 price is so outrageous he didn't even mention it😂

I think it’s wise for amd to abandon the top end. If they can dominate $300-700, that would put a lot of pressure on Nvidia’s pricing strategy. I think something that hurts AMD is that reviewers only test max graphics settings and this creates the perception in less knowledgeable people that AMD is inferior (besides ray tracing) for 4K in the mid range.

The fact that most gamers buy Nvidia should have no bearing on what card any given gamer buys. That mentality is the reason why Nvidia has managed to have such a huge market share advantage and why it can sell GPUs that under perform and are short on VRAM for their price point.

why not rx 6800 in place of rx 7700xt?

Surely there is no way you would go for a 4070 TI super over a 7900 XT when it has less memory and costs more. Surely the features like frame generation and ray tracing dont mean that much?

I don't care if AMD doesn't challenge the 5090, but they sure as hell need a 5080 challanger.

Just did a build with a 3070 I got for free, so I’m thinking that’s the best card for the money. Got it out of an Alienware PC one of my architect clients was upgrading. Might be able to get a hold of a few more, and I’m thinking I could sell them for a couple hundred each and get into something with a bit more kick.

I got a 7700xt over a 7800xt even when everyone was saying not to. Reason being I didn't have the extra bandwidth in my budget I live outside the US and had to factor in shipping costs. The 7700xt is a great card

Idk whether to love or hate the fact that nobody talks about the 6800/XT. Keeps prices manageable I guess

what would you recommend for someone looking for a mid tier card with USB-C and DP ALT mode.

Great video 🔥
Should I get 4060 new for 300 or 3070 used for 250 I play only competitive gaming

About the 4070ti super and 7900xt basing recommendations on steam hardware surveys is a bit strange. Always every youtuber mentions the feature set of Nvidia such as DLSS etc. But don't forget AMD has alot of great features aswel, such as frame generation on driver level, Radeon boost, radeon chill/anti lag and much more. They lag greatly in Raytracing though. If they are the same price I would pick the 4070ti super, but the 7900xt is no slouch either, as you said beating the former in rasterization.

if you have money to get good quality, go for nvidia, the upscale DLSS is better than FSR, and on most of games (not all but most) nvidia have better raytracing fps.

but if you have money and you need only FPS, dont need Raytrace and dont care about slightly worse upscale (FSR), go for AMD, it'll get you most fps per money

I've got an Rx 6950 xt and I'm either gonna wait until black Friday weekend to get a 4080s or I'm gonna save a little bit more money and get an 5080 not sure yet tho

At this point I'm never going to buy an Intel graphics card because I'm not confident they're going to continue developing them, which means no more driver updates which means some of the newer games won't run like at all on them
