The droid army was one of the most powerful forces ever seen within the Star Wars Galaxy. Financed by giant corporations, the construction of the droid army took the resources of many Star Systems to produce, creating an unfathomably large army. Even the Republic's top generals did not fully grasp the true scale of the droid army, largely due to the machinations of sidious. While in canon, a number has never been given, in legends, a rough estimate has been suggested, although it could be CIS propoganda. It was said that if Palpatine had allowed it, the droid army could have crushed the republic in meer weeks through sheer numbers, but due to Palpatine's desire to eventually replace the droids and clones with conscripts, he placed much of the droid army in standby. Bby the end of the Clone wars, the CIS army numbered in the quintillions, outnumbering every single sentient being in the entire galaxy.

What I love about the prequels is that palpatine, manufactured a conflict in order for him to gain full power and have his enemies (obstacles) argue and kill each other allowing him to gain power, wealth, and most importantly influence.

I have to thank you. Finding your channel and watching your videos has renewed my love for Star Wars. After the new trilogy films started coming out, I began to hate Star Wars because of what Disney had done to the great story and legacy that George Lucas had laid out. It does kinda make no logistical sense why the CIS would ever lose, they literally have the galaxy’s biggest and most wealthiest corporations and donors possible, and the ability to mass produce droids that required far less time to train, feed, and make sure they aren’t depressed. Because y’know, they don’t feel. Which if you don’t know, is a fairly huge issue, especially when you take into account emotions in general.
