I always loved the Separatists, they're the only faction to technically survive all three trilogies. There was a fanfiction where the CIS came back for Episode 9, and honestly, that just sounds 100 times better than what we got.

Fun fact: the majority of Rebels and even the Rebel Hero andor where ex separatists, in fact the Heroes of the republic quickly were assumed by the empire and believed they were still doing good things

I feel like the separatists were under used in the galactic civil war. I feel like there could have been a really cool way to try to write the separatists into forming the rebel alliance, similar to how parts of the new Republic got formed into the resistance in the sequels.

I would really like to see Separatist holdouts in live action show or animated. I think it could be a cool way of showing just how manipulated everyone was by Palpatine and how separatists truly felt about the war and how it ended up and it would be cool to see droids vs stormtroopers and space battles

Weird to think that separatists were fighting from tyranny of the republic while rebels were fighting from the tyranny of the empire and they’d become allies to reform a republic. I honestly think the confederacy could’ve worked in Star Wars had those corporations actually cared and Sidious not control them

I did wonder whether we’d see an army of recommissioned battle droids fighting for the resistance before Rise of Skywalker came out.
