I trusted my girlfriend with a very personal and confidential secret and she spilled it out but she doesn’t know that I’m aware of this.

I can’t trust her 100% ever since. Also one of my best “friend” spilled a secret from me 7 years ago and since then I don’t tell him nothing confidential.

Number 6 is also inaccurate. Emotional distancing cam be caused by a number of things, often times some type of abuse or trauma from their past, and does not automatically mean they are hiding something that is anyone else's business, or are untrustworthy.

Explosive feedback: wow this explained why I was uneasy with my sister.
I told her to take time to think things through before getting angry all the time ( she always gets angry at the smallest things) and she went berserk.. she accused me of insulting her ; that I am assuming she was stupid. I really did not see her explosion coming… she proceeded to insult me but not only me she went on a rant insulting my young children. I am in still in shock and went quiet. 3 months has passed and she called me out of the blue. I did not pick up. I am so frightened as to what she really think of me and whether I can trust her around me. I never thought it would one day be necessary to be careful not trusting my own sister. It hurts and I am learning to be careful now with people around me. Someone smiling at you doesn’t mean they like you.

That lack of eye contact thing is complete bullshit!
There are many different reasons that a person may have trouble keeping eye contact, from signs of past trauma, to low self-esteem all the way to mild to severe autism, in fact Liars know this, that's why a good liar always keeps good eye contact. Do yourself a favor and throw that eye contact crap out the window. Just because someone keeps good eye contact does not mean they're telling the truth, and just because someone does not keep good eye contact does not mean they're lying.

Another sign that you can’t trust someone, which happened to me 3 years ago, a girl that i reunited with online, who i knew from school 20 years ago told me she wanted to meet me at a park near my house with our dogs and she never showed up and broke my heart. It has been 3 years since then but i still remember, fortunately It doesn’t hurt anymore
