The real facts about Acko . The actual facts are these/
1. Whenever a claim is raised they call you and try to put you through reimbursement claims which is a scam . The claim should be cashless and only the difference amount has to be the insured liability.
2. Reaching out to claim department is impossible . Only contact is the customer care who have limited exposure to the claims process.
3 . Every time we call customer service we are put on a scheduled callback from the claims department. This call back actual happens but it lasts only for 11 seconds . No body from the other side says anything and it is cut . We receive a message shortly after stating we tried reaching you but you were not available .
4. Because you cannot reach out to claims department it’s never clear what to do .
5. As per the policy the car is supposed to be picked up from the residence and delivered back which they definitely don’t do .

Hi sir..if i install rear steel bumper from after market shop to my brand new car to protect my car rear side from minute scratches from two wheelers while in city traffic conditions. And if my car meets with major accident from front side on highway (nothing to do with rear steel bumper in this case) will my claim be accepted? Bcoz i took car loan. If i dont get insurance money how can i repay to bank? Kindly guide. Car rear bumper gets dents scratches if steel bumper is not installed.

I see different premium for the same OD and from the same vendor, like when I go through Maruti Insurance I see higher prices for the same policy but when I go to vendor's portal the prices are lower.

I always prefer to pay 1-2k more to dealer for insurance for my Ecosport. It's like money paid for peace of mind. Once my car's bumper got damaged and I jut left the car at Dealer, they took my signature on some papers within 10 min and that's it. Na kisiko call karna pada, na kisi surveyor se milna pada. Seamlessly got my vehicle within 3 days. And mind you this happened after exit of Ford. And Insurer is bajaj Allianz.
