Underwriter here — some states will even charge for excluded drivers because they’ll have very limited and horrible coverage (around $10k of BI liability) which would be stated in the endorsement. Lots of angry agents have called about that.

An insurance company tried to accuse me of fraud when my daughter was in an accident. Basically the investigation showed that I had been told wrong by someone in their own company and had done what I was told. Even though I was cleared, it was a scary time.

I recently purchased a truck and it was registered in my name but I was letting my mom drive it as her vehicle was broke down and I had another so she insured it until she could get her vehicle back and I happened to crash it the week I got the truck back before the insurance got switched…. I used to work for one of the big insurance companies a few years ago and young drivers were the biggest headache I dealt with and led to the almost angry customers. The amount of suspicious claims customers made to try to remove those drivers was astonishing: i.e ‘that’s not my kid’, ‘they moved out’, ‘I never agreed to this’, etc.

I'm wondering if there is a federal law regarding that an insurance company must notify a person if they've been stamped, Fraud. If a non-fraudulent person were inadvertently stamped fraud, how would they know if this happened?

sept thing is there is no real point to even having insurance cause no insuracne companys actually pay out or they try skimming out on paying and such.
