The key tactic is for there to be more accurate counter battery fire by the artillery units. They now have some precise artillery pieces in their possession, i.e., the M777 155mm howitzer with the Excalibur shell which can be quite accurate. Of course tanks and infantry fighting vehicles are important, but they all require artillery support. With good tactics one smaller force can overtake a superior force especially if the superiority is in common weaponry and manpower. Slava Ukraine! Cheers from eastern TN
