I miss hypothetical wars. Real war sad

That land bridge is a bottleneck, a death zone. A General would be insane to think a force will drive through that. It's not an assault, it's murder.

Remember when this channel was about: if country A fights country B - who will win? Yes, I do miss these times.

KAB-500 is a Russian precision guided weapon which comes in four versions:

KAB-500KR TV-guided bomb

KAB-500L laser-guided bomb

KAB-500OD EO correlation TV seeker

KAB-500S-E satellite-guided bomb

The KAB-500KR Correctable air bomb - 500 kg) is an electro-optical TV-guided fire and forget bomb developed by the Russian Air Force .The technology of KAB-500Kr is also used for larger bombs, such as KAB-1500Kr based on the 1500 kg class FAB-1500 iron bomb. The KAB-1500S-E (Russian: КАБ-1500С-Э) is a precision guided bomb, part of KAB-1500 family, designed for the Russian Federation Air Force (RFAF) to carry out precision attacks, using 24-channel GLONASS and is equivalent to the United States Air Force (USAF) Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM).Russian sources credit it with a CEP of 3 meters (9.8 feet) to 5 meters (16 feet). FAB-9000 was a very large 9, 000 kg (19, 842 lb) conventional high explosive bomb developed early in the Cold War The bombs were used by the Russian Air Force during the Russia Ukraine war, being dropped from Tu-22M4 bombers on military, industrial and civilian. On 13 March 2022 and 14 May 2022, FAB-9000 bombs were found in Ukrainian cities Chernihiv and Odesa.

In March 2023, Russian Su-35s have launched a number of FAB-500M-62, wreckage of which indicates that these have been fitted with a JDAM type kit, involving pop-out wings and satellite navigation. It's unknown whether it has an internal navigation system. Another theory is that the bomb has been fitted with wings simply to extend its range. It also is believed to give Russian aircraft a stand-off ability to hit Ukrainian targets without risking exposure to Ukrainian air defences.

Ukraine’s best move is surrounding Crimea and starving it out. You don’t always need to invade to take territory.

I think they should remove the train portion of the Kerch bridge, again, right now, and the deck coming into Ukraine as well. That brings it back to one span, again, to transfer people and materiel over, and cuts it down to a MUCH smaller level. The Russians, when they run like scared rabbits, again, if they do, (the civilians will, at least) can open both lanes out if that's what they choose.

I know that the Ukrainians want to leave an out so that the Russians do not have to fight to the last man standing. I'll be glad when this thing is over, and the Russians are OUT.

It would be simpler to just make a man made island and call it Crimea 2.0 The sea of Azov is very shallow and no one would be dropping bombs on you.

Isn't crazy how the fate of the world hinges on whether Moscow accepts defeat or they nuke Ukraine? I honestly don't see Ukraine surrendering, and I doubt Russians are going to give up Crimea like they gave up Afghanistan.
The second they do that it will mean the end of everything. Washington, Moscow, Beijing, New Delhi etc. Anyone with nukes and a grudge is going to be slinging them without care because nuclear deterrence would be officially irrelevant at that point.

From the looks of it now, Ukraine has no chance of retaking Crimea and has little chance of winning this war. The west has become war weary because of the cost and Zelensky’s unwillingness to negotiate without a complete Russian withdrawal from all Crimea which will never happen.

Short answer; NO they can not do it. 👍 it will no happen

For Ukraine to liberate their land that is Russian occupied they need to directly attack the closest point between Ukraine and Russia, and force the Russian military personnel that's occupying Crimea to go aid those parts being attacked then at the same time swoop them from the south and push them back into Russia.

In order for Ukraine to do anything, it would first need personell, equipment and supplies, none of which it has enough of to do anything but keep putting on an act
