In the USA most can't even afford a colonoscopy. Let alone be allowed off work to get it done.

I'm 33 have been having issues for a few years now with all of these symptoms plus a rectal prolapse I've been dealing with for 15 years. I finally took it serious and I have an appointment in 3 months. Wish me luck.

Well on my mom's side of the family. I have lost cousin's, aunts and uncles. I also just lost my sister Nov 2nd of this bad 2020 year. All of then didn't live to see 45 years old. My sister was 44 years old. One of my cousin's that has is only 41 years old.

I've had rectal pain now for an ongoing 8 months and it is now constant. I also bleed when I have bowel movements but not a lot. I'm worried that my doctor won't order me a colonoscopy but I am vehement that my concerns are valid even though I'm only 30.

In the USA if you’re under 50 you can’t get a colonoscopy. Sad that insurance companies rule the outcome of care you receive and not the actual doctor. USA’s insurance and healthcare relationship is disgusting!

Colon cancer runs in my family and my biggest fear is getting taken away because of it I’m scared I’ll have a family and kids and everything and then I get notified I have it so I’m starting screenings once I’m like 20 because If I do have it I wanna catch it at a really early stage

My stool was orange what does that mean and please answer I’m worried and only 13

The doctors found a nodule on or close to my rectum. The problem is I cannot get in for even a biopsy until next year to find out if the nodule is being or not. I've been thinking about going abroad to have it done. Waiting a year is so unfair.

Additional info such as lifestyle too much drinking or smoking. My brother developed EXACTLY the same colo rectal sphygmoid cancer at EXACTLY the same age--zero drinking or smoking. the cancer was in the same place and he ended up with the bag. its not a punishment from god for something you did wrong. The fact is most of it is hereditary. all through it and even now I constantly get the comments "did you eat hot peppers?' I actually had on anethesist say that to me. each person wants to apply that "its a punishment from god that you did or ate the wrong things"
