This ws very helpful. I went on a Keto diet 18 months ago when i was diagnosed with prostate cancer. An ex top US surgeon advised a Ketogenic diet with a few ammendments like some fruits i could not eat etc.
I went into ketosis after 3 days and came out the other side 2 days later after tiredness and headaches.
I felt the most alive and energetic than any time in my life. It was an awesome feeling.
I had absolutely no problem keeing up the keto diet upto (live or die motivation is an easy choice) and just after my cancer surgery (prostate removal).
The keto diet helped reduce the prostate size and even the PSA level. But the risk of spreading had gone too far that i needed the damn thing OUT.
Now i am completely free of cancer.
However, after my surgery my MOTIVATION to do what was necessary to stay in keto was gone.
So what i need is exact samples of weekly shopping and simple meals i can make myself + what can i eat in restaurants and cafes....knowing that i live in Bali.
PLUS is there a simple way to monitor ketone levels and where do i get and what is the measuring device to ensure i stay in Keto safely.
