ive pretty much given up on dating now. today's dating culture sucks and so do the people.

Dating apps are lame. Majority are for hookups which if that's what you are looking for, that's fine. Large number of people don't develop long term relationships from it. People move on after 1-3 dates, constantly looking for the next shiny thing. Before the whole dating app culture, there's more time spent to know someone and the people I know who had long term relationships or married are the ones who dated for a while (only one on one) and then let the relationship grow. It's not instant matching, text for a few days, have a couple meetups, and then the one appears. Just not organic. Dating culture today is exhausting.

I know dating is hard but I rather not meet someone online. I feel like I've met enough people in person who are very off. So imagine someone online not connected to anyone you know? That's 100x worse.

AI could help "solve" dating fatigue?? If anything, I think AI will exacerbate it.
AI already makes job hunting and resumes, applicant tracking software (ATS) etc. an already miserable process even more miserable.

AI luring people into a date is 🤢. Dating apps are a thing of the past though. Especially Bumble. Kicking regular people off for getting falsely reported after rejecting someone. Yet tons of bots & scammers get to have profiles. Weird times.

Internet Dating was cool from 2008-2016 because they were still somewhat "taboo" then. Then once the apps came it got destroyed. Time to go back to meeting people in person! The apps now are nothing but glorified casino slot machines that make you addicted to swiping.

Too many people saying they were looking for relationships are on there just to hook up. Nothing wrong with that, just be honest instead of leading people on for that.
