I don't agree with Steve. Some time down the line of just getting to know the person you have to let them know that you're celibate. Not after emotional attachment. Because then when the other person says they can't wait there is going to be heartbreak. Plus the feeling of wasted time & feelings.

I think it’s never to soon to tell the guy. And if he leaves he’s not the guy for you. Waiting is worse. Because you need to keep your guards up and not get emotionally attached. There are so many guys who are willing to wait, and there are al lot of guys who won’t. So you need to be prepared that’s part of it

I actually think it's really beautiful to be abstinent. It adds a level of dignity to your character that men will notice, and will love you for. Perhaps not every man, but the men who do not see the beauty are probably not the type that will respect you fully anyway.

That's kinda manipulative imo. Waiting for the other person to "catch feelings" and then you tell them this huge thing that they were probably never comfortable with in the first place. Also, ladies, let me tell you something. Men don't care about feelings as much as you think (or as much as they tell you they do). I thought I found my dream guy, we were in a committed relationship for a few months, he told me and acted like he truly loved me, and when I made the decision to be celibate he left me that same day like I meant NOTHING to him. Don't be fooled, no man is gonna stick around if celibacy is not something he wants too. No matter how long you make him wait, he's gonna leave you once he finds out sex is not an option. Tell them as soon as possible, so you don't waste your and their time.

I have walked away from girls and relationships that crave the "sex" outside of marriage. "Friends with benefits" is sleazy. A good man will not pressure the woman but will talk about marriage first.
