My husband connected most with his mother. Being young and naive I did not realize that it would become a problem in our marriage. Many times I felt that her desires and wants came before mine with my husband. I dealt with it as best I could and am still married. But if a man tells you his mother is super important to him or he is very close to his mother you may really want to think about that one.

If I may suggest: #1 is the only question I'd ask on the first date. Ask the others at a time you think is appropriate. I'd never mention family or how I might fit into his life on the first, second or even third get together. If I were a man, those question would freak me out at the beginning.

The more I listen to his videos the less hope I have of a relationship. It's like the women have to do all the hoop jumping for them so they dont have to change. Win/win or keep talking until it is. I've been dating and learning and practicing for 25 years and I don't feel any closer to achieving and maintaining a successful relationship. I think achieving a Banner relationship with myself is my future final endeavor and I'm at peace with that.
