Ok but to be fair, we have a similar thing in Italy and it's called Pasta Salad... And yes it does have usually mayonnaise but also some diced salami or ham, tomato, cheese and many other things that makes it more... Tasty than just boiled egg and pickles😅😅

When i worked in a supermarket (I live in the UK) an Asian lady came and asked me how the cooking instructions of one of the cold pasta salads we had. When i told her that you dont heat it up you eat it cold she started hysterically laughing for a while, it was quite good. I appreciated that it was a bit of a culture shock for her haha
