Good to know! I put 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric in 1 cup of warm water, with a dash of black pepper every morning. I have Lyme disease and it helps with the joint pain, and inflammation. Also, I do the same with cayenne pepper too. They are definetly a God send. Thank you for this information. Be blessed everyone!!❤

After reading all the comments I am wondering if everyone realizes this can be grown in your backyard just like ginger, for very little cost. Yes it may take a while to get your own and the end outcome is wonderful savings. You can get a free Bucket (food grade only) from say a bakery ..add some good top quality soil.. find a nice ORGANIC piece of Tumeric from a healthy store, with lots of the little Nubs on it, (that's where it grows out from like potatoes) bury in the soil, talk to it, and just watch it grow. When it's done growing Harvest cut it into pieces or grind it up. if you're not sure look, up how to grow turmeric and ginger on your own there are quite a few YouTubers that show how to grow turmeric and ginger in your backyard or it could be an ornamental on your porch. Happy growing to be healthy

Given the absence of 99% of the information in Dr. Mandel's videos in mainstream American medicine...I'd say he's a certified HERO!!! 🎉👌🏼👏🏼🥳

I put turmeric in my morning cup of coffee with a dash of pepper, a pinch of Celtic Sea Salt and some coconut oil.
Since adding turmeric I've seen a big difference in my arthritis pain.

I'm so thankful I saw this video. Last year my mom got a terrible intestinal disorder, presumably from food truck bbq. Ever since she's suffered with brain fog, poor sleep, irritability and depression. I've always believed there was a concrete link between these issues but no one has taken me seriously. I'm definitely going to work on adding turmeric into both our daily diets. Thank you so much for this information!

I grow turmeric at home on the terrace in grow bags. I harvest it once in a year. I powder it and store it. I am from India.

Learning how the colon affects the body makes me to see how/why when growing up in the Caribbean, our family used to give us an enema with castor oil about three times/ year, usually just before returning to school. It was done like clockwork part of a routine.

Now, the word enema was never used. We called it 'washout' and we also had to drink certain 'teas' and bush herb 'bitters' also as part of the process.

It is interesting now to see all these 'remedies' being highlighted. It's no wonder my family, for the most part, has enjoyed such long, healthy life without chronic diseases.

Now to be clear, when l say family, I speak of extended family for at least three generations starting at my maternal grandparents, as 'family' in the Caribbean is thought of beyond the 'nuclear' family which is the norm in places like North America, Canada/US in particular. I think Mexico is different that way. My grandfather transitioned at 102, no major health issues at death, on no medication. My grandmother transitioned at 98, same thing, no major health issues except for glaucoma near the end and was also not on any medications. Neither had any chronic health issues during their lifespan. Their children, my aunts, 8, uncle 1, with the exception of one who died of cancer in the USA at 56, all died between ages 89 and upwards, all without chronic diseases or long term medications. My generation seem to be doing the same. Our children also seem to be doing similar, so far.

When I hear of things being 'heriditary', I believe that what is 'hereditary' is usually lifestyle habits which includes these types of habits. These lifestyle habits passed down to the next generations affect what happens.

I wish everyone well and good health. Thankful for the Dr spreading the word. Blessings to all.🙏🏽 Peace✌🏽

The gut (which is referred to as our second brain) should not be taken for granted. Take care of it, and it will take care of you...especially as you age (and reach THAT age😊). So...I vowed to never rely on fast food/processed food for my nutritional needs/hunger. I wish that families would wean their kids off a bad fast food/processed food diet. Peace❤
