To be honest the hardest part of 100% botw is the koroks and its such a huge part

honestly i spend 90% of my time in botw just riding around on my horses and looking for the prettiest spots. i recently completed all the shrines, and now i'm looking for the rest of the koroks, and it's taken me to a lot of places i had previously overlooked, including the super peacful areas of the game where you dont have to worry about monsters much. it's really nice.

Topatoes! (potatoes, whatever!) So I have all the shrines, all the main quests, and all 900(!) korok seeds, and I'm still at 99.34%. I imagine there may be sidequests and map areas to explore.
Either way, thank you for this vid - you keep us sane while we wait for ToTK.

I actually did 100% the game a few years ago. I… don’t recommend it tbh. Learning new glitches is always fun though, so I can confidently say that that’s the most fun!

Main quests are not required for map completion 100%. Only things that appear on the map are required, so that includes koroks, shrines, discoverable locations, towers, and divine beasts. Nothing else is required for map completion 100%. However, in the 100% speedrun of this game, you need to complete everything in the game that permanently alters your inventory/menu. This includes all container (stamina and heart) upgrades, all 120 spirit orbs from shrines, all divine beast heart containers, complete entire adventure log which includes all 15 main quests (Ganon must be beaten at some point), all 42 shrine quests, all 77 side quests (including xenoblade quest), all 18 memories, 100% map completion which includes all 900 koroks, all discoverable locations, all shrines, and all divine beasts, all key items which includes entirely upgraded shiekah slate (camera, sensor+, bombs+, and stasis+), the paraglider, all champion abilities, all medals of honor from kilton (kill all 40 hinox, kill all 40 talus, and kill all 4 molduga), all horse bridles and saddles, hestu’s gift (given by hestu after getting all 900 koroks and expanding entire inventory), and the confidential envelope (given after completing entire hyrule compendium), the master sword, and all permanent pieces of clothing upgraded to their highest potential, which includes max upgrades on the entire Zora set, max upgrades on the champions tunic, max upgrades on the wild set, and the thunder helm.
