Better balance = less pain! 😇

Balance is incredibly important to support your hips, knees and ankles- arthritis or not ☝🏽

When you’re balancing, many different muscles are working at once to keep you upright 🙌🏼

The thing is- balance is more than just standing in one spot. Adding movement significantly increases the challenge. Even if you think your balance is good- this exercise may be surprising! 👀

This is a fun way to make balance a bit more unpredictable and challenge your balance side to side ↔️

You can use a resistance band or a small object you feel comfortable tossing and catching ✅

A good place to start would be setting a timer for 30-60 seconds and see how many tosses you can get. Then switch feet and repeat ⏱️

I love doing balance exercises in the corner of a wall for increased safety. Modify further as needed. ⚠️

They had me do that post hips replacements. Tossing a 8lb dumbell though. Also on 1 foot on balance foam pad.
