Did I hear “autonomous driving on SUBSCRIPTION”…!? Subscription!?

I drive a 2021 XC90 T8, so I’m a prime EXC90 customer and I can tell you that making built-in features only accessible via a subscription is a really shitty thing to do and instantly puts me off. Very disappointing.

This is BS. Do you know how much it would cost to repair stupid things like this? Cameras, sensors, some fu*kin laser? OMG guys... not mentioning it when somebody will damage them or steal them. The same with the all fancy stuff which is "on" windshield. When you get broken windshield (very little damage) you have to go to mechanic and change it. Simple job. It costs like 200 - 300 € but with all the bullshit cameras and safety features using sensors and cameras calibrated with the windshield you will pay like 1000 - 2000 € depending on manufacturer and car type! This is riddiculous.
