The Volvo EX90 will feature a beautiful set of displays. Designed to reduce distraction, the system learns from you and presents the right information at the right time for safety and convenience.

Presented by Tom Stovicek. Coming soon with the Volvo EX90, our new fully electric flagship SUV.

Love these videos about the EX90. I'm hoping that this technology and UX changes flow down to the lower model ranges for those of us that aren't able to afford the high end models, or maybe also flow to your Polestar brand.

I cannot afford an EX90, but I think the dash design is awesome! Especially the ability to see what is coming in your blind spot without having to look at the exterior mirrors. BRILLIANT! (I have a medical issue with my stiff neck.)

Thanks a lot, friends. Very nice design and good presentation reels.
I wish snippets could be a bit longer. But that’s my media producer talking inside.
Hope to upgrade my xc90 to ex90 one day. When the war is over and I get back to civil life.
Cheers from Kyiv and keep it up.

Safety in mind you say huh? Well replacing phisicaly manual controlers with a touchscreen when you actually MUST look at what you want to control (radio, a/c, drive assistants) is pretty oposite of "safety" word. :) only simplified thing is a design... Yeah its nice, simple a clean, but not safe when you really cant focus on driving while controling anything

Really disappointing to see Volvo removing physical buttons, especially from the steering wheel. Here's a proposal, Volvo: Run a low-speed slalom test with the new EX90, alongside an older XC90, while requiring the driver to make basic adjustments to the climate, stereo, and navigation. See where that goes.

Excellent. Thanks for the preview. I'm very excited about Nov. 9. Volvo and Polestar take a similar design approach with distinctive styling for each brand.

This looks interesting. Contextual information presented to combat driver disraction. Looking forward how this translates IRL.

As I am always saying, there are 2 cars on the road, Volvo and the rest

Not impressed. The lack of physical buttons is a real turn off.

I thought Volvo is about safety. There is noting safe about removing controls you can feel with your fingers. No need to copy bad designs.

@VolvoCars are the steering wheel switches capacitive touch only? Or did you introduce piezos for force sensing and feedback to the user?
Or are they touch displays instead?

Excellent choice of the gear selexctor location. Hopefully the freed-up place in midle console will be functional and not just nice. Pleace cincentrate this around convenient phone charging and observing

Can’t wait to see the reveal. I just wish Volvo would offer an upgrade option to replace Sensus XC40 PHEV to Android Auto.

So disappointed to see a huge screen like Tesla. I stare at huge computer screens all day for work - I don't want one in my car.

It's also much harder to adjust volume/air flow while driving if you don't have REAL buttons you can push without looking.

Why is every car manufacturer moving to these huge tablets that stick out over the dash? No need to answer @volvocars, I know the answer... it's because Tesla did it.
